In kindergarten, my uncles taught me to make other people cry before I let them make me cry. I was being bothered by this one boy who kept calling me cross-eyed. Heeding my uncles’ advice, I punched the kid and gave him a nosebleed before he could tease me to tears. However, I think that teaching got ingrained better than it should have been. Sorry.
